In this episode Adam, Les, and Travis discuss a new comic series by Brenden Fletcher and Freddie Williams II, Freaks in Shitters. Freaks in Shitters follows the exploits of six bizarre people who all live together in an apartment building that’s split between them and their landlord, Mr. C. The series isn’t really all that weird or crazy, but the dialogue is. It was interesting to hear the main characters talk to each other. Let’s be honest, most of the people you know don’t talk to one another. Freaks in Shitters isn’t your typical dysfunctional family comedy. Those are usually set in larger homes. Freaks in Shitters is a smaller apartment building. The main characters aren’t the typical dysfunctional family. The two main characters are a lesbian pornstar named Gebor and his landlady who doesn’t really like him. They don’t get along at all. They try to get along in order to manage the building, but they seem destined for their own destruction. This is a four issue mini-series. The first issue has been out for a month now, but with the first issue being fully color, it took forever for it to be available. It’s a wild ride from beginning to end. It’s weird to get started on the series because you’ve heard so much about it that you’re familiar with some of the visuals, but you’re not familiar with the characters so it’s weird to start with issue 1. However, it has a great concept, and the way that the story is handled is fun. We recommend you give it a try.1. Field of the Invention The present Dec 26, 2012 Favorite GUL Okleper x2.
